Wireless Eggspert **DO NOT BUY THIS* Apr 15, 2010 Mr. Walczak's class. I purchased this item because I found the wired units very enjoyable during review games. I experienced very similar problems as everyone else seems to be having. Some of the buttons just don't seem to work, only my purple button works from more than 5 feet away, but none of the others. The teacher's remote must be within 2 feet just to clear the lights. And none of the buttons work dependably. This was extremely frustrating for my entire class. Also, the lights do not come with an AC adapter, you have to purchase this separately. For this price, they really should include it. Lastly, in total, you will need 16 batteries to run everything at once. Chargable units makes more sense. This company really needs to put more effort into this product. I higly recomend people not purchasing this item.
Batteries Drain Quick Mar 31, 2010 I bought this to use at an internal tradeshow where our booths were 60inch round tables. I sat in front of the tower and distributed the buzzers around the table. The batteries went dead so fast, I couldn't believe it! I had spare batteries, but it was a pain since you have to use a screwdriver to open the wireless units. As it turned out, I didn't have enough spare batteries to keep up with them dying! I would need a wheelbarrow full of batteries as back up in the future. The concept and use were a hit...when it worked!

Get the ORIGINAL WIRED eggspert! Mar 27, 2010 I had borrowed the original eggspert from another teacher before, so I decided to get my own. I thought the wireless would be great since it would work without the students coming to me. HOWEVER, the buttons did not always work, even when close the the home device. Also, the students were not able to buzz in on consecutive questions. One of the other buzzers had to be pressed before they could answer again. My students and I were all very frustrated since they had experienced the older version before.

Good idea in theory Feb 14, 2010 I purchased this locally, for my classroom. For the cost I feel it is not very solidly made.
Also, the wireless technology did not work unless you were almost on top of the base unit.
My students got frustrated with the sporadic way the unit worked then didn't. I put it away and
plan to return it. Was not worth the $[...].

Using with Adults Jan 19, 2010 I purchased the wireless Eggspert for use during adult learning sessions. Make it a game and adults seem to learn more. Using it "jeopardy" style, we had a few problems with the "users" being able to buzz-in, but found that they weren't squeezing hard enough. Good product.
