Excellent Toy Mar 29, 2005
By Susan M. Reagan My five year old twins recieved the deluxe set (basically 2 Junior sets packaged together) for their birthday a few days ago and have been playing with them nonstop ever since. Its the first thing they pick up when they wake up in the morning. My children love building things so it is hard to say whether a child who doesn't enjoy that kind of activity would love them as much but the wedgits are fascinating, colorful and easy to manipulate. My kids delight in building their own structures as well as the many designs in the book and haven't needed much outside help from me. When they go to bed I play with them too. The toy in its plastic holder is attractive, almost like a piece of modern art. Overall a great toy.

Great Building Blocks Sep 17, 2010
By P. Parks I like this set but we prefer the starter set over this one. The starter set has only safe pieces for all ages which if you have babies in the house should be the set you choose. This set is nice as well but has several pieces smaller than a die. I don't think these benefit the set enough to introduce a choking hazard into our home so I returned this set and exchanged it for the starter set. I think there were 4 or 5 of them. Great set! However, the best in my opinion is the Wedgits Starter Set! I gave this set three stars because of the choking hazards. Starter set I would give 5 stars!

Wedgits Construction Sep 12, 2009
By J. Singleton Wedgits offer entertainment value while exercising one's ability to figure out the various picture puzzles to construct. The picture cards vary from easy to difficult, the pieces feel good to work with, and figuring out a picture offers its own reward. One can work out their own designs as well. These have captured the attention of older children as well as the young. Adults easily get pulled into the wedgit challenge making it a fun time to spend with little ones. These make great gifts in which to build a collection. I haven't been able to find anyone selling a used outgrown collection to have available at "Grandma's house", however, indicating others are finding these to be keeper toys.

Great toy! Excellent tool for expanding creativity!!! Jan 23, 2008

Friends of ours had gotten this toy for their daughter (age 4)and she loved playing with it. Her enthusiasm spilled over to our son (age 4)and he kept taking it away from their daughter to play with it. He got his own this Christmas, and it keeps us all entertained. We love trying to make new shapes and designs that aren't in the accompanying brochure. It helps stretch our imaginations!!!

Great toy but not for 3 years olds as advertised Jan 01, 2008
By KT I bought this for my cousin's two young children (ages 2 and 3) for Christmas this year and while I knew it would be too advanced for a 2-year old I thought it would be fine for the 3-year old since that's what the product advertises as the starting age.
After they opened it on Christmas day, I soon discovered that it is really a toy for children ages 5+. The 2-year old loves to build with blocks but found this to be a bit difficult and the 3-year old played with it for a little while and enjoyed stacking and unstacking the blocks in the neat holder it comes in, but the designs in the booklet were definitely far too advanced for any child under 5. Both are very smart children but the designs are complicated and somewhat challenging for adults. My younger brother and I thoroughly enjoyed playing with the blocks after the kids grew bored with them so I am giving the item five stars because it is a great, educational toy and I think it's fun. I only disagree with the age limits for young children. I know that they'll grow into it and learn to make the designs as they get older so I am glad that I bought it for them, just a little disappointed that there weren't any easier designs.
