 Bought as a gift Mar 12, 2010
I bought this for my 9 year old nephew's birthday. My sister tells me he really loves it. In fact she said he liked it so much that he wanted to take it everywhere with him. She said there are a lot of little pieces to it though. She accidently threw some away while she was cleaning because she didn't realize what they went to, but luckily he can still use it, because there are a lot of different projects to build. If it makes him happy, it makes me happy.

This product looks wonderful, came highly recommended, and looked very durable. I purchased 2 each, one for my 8-year-old and one for my 9 1/2-year-old grandsons for Christmas. I also bought two of the Snap Circuits SC300 and 2 of the Wild Planet Hyper-Dash. The boys were not at all interested in the Snap Circuits. They could not figure the Hyper Dash and neither could I. I spent $180 when all was totaled and the boys have not used any of the items. It was very disappointing. My intent was to buy very interesting toys that would bring them enjoyment and help them learn something new. The youngest thanked me when they were ready to leave and said, "Grandma, for our birthdays we would like Lego's."
Very nice items, but not attractive to my grandsons.

We bought this for our very curious 6 year old son, he so loved it. He has been playing with it for hours over many days. He keeps rebuilding it differently to see how the circut works. I am planning on buying another kit so he can put them together. It is great because it is strong and sturdy and easy for him to snap together. Our 14 year old son loves it too. Defiantely one of the best toys I have ever bought for a boy.

"coolest toy ever" Oct 28, 2009
I purchased this toy for my nephew's birthday and he was thrilled. He called to tell me that it was "the coolest toy ever" which is very high praise for a 12 year old. I will be purchasing for other nephews for Christmas!

Toy is fun for our 8 year old son and a great learning toy that makes him think.
