Best new art medium for all ages! Aug 20, 2007

I heard about this product from a teacher friend of mine, and I got them for my then 4 year old. Two years later they are still the hottest thing in the art box. This was the gift I gave last year to one and all. Everyone always wants to know where they can get them, as well. My child's preschool teacher loves them, we bought them for the class. They apply thick and creamy to paper, smudge well, clean up well, and if you use water with them you can get all kinds of effects. And I have heard the Amos brand are the best of this genre.

Colorix are very fun! They can be a crayon, an oil pastel and with a little water and a paintbrush -- water colors. They last for quite a while -- three little boys, daily, 3 months.
Downside -- they are not washable and stain carpet.

My 6yo son has a muscle weakness that makes it difficult for him to write or color. These crayons make coloring a breeze for him. His twin brother loves them too. They really are silky smooth to color or draw with. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. I will be buying these again!

My 6 y.o. daughter got these for a gift. We are all having so much fun with them, including my 2 y.o. daughter. They are so slippery and fun to draw with we adore them! You can even wet a paintbrush and paint with the color! I am already planning on replacing them when these run out. My daughter is also having so much fun learning how to mix colors and make her own.
