Good for any age (beyond toddler who might put it in his mouth). My grandson loves this foam. It doesn't seem to dry out and it sticks to itself, so when building something in separate pieces, they can be added and will stick together. The foam is apt to stick to floor, carpet, etc., but can be removed with little effort.

My 11 year old daughter and her friends have spent a lot of time creating fun things. I, as a mom, LOVE how non-messy this is. I don't find any remnants on the floor like I would with playdough.

This is one of the things that is fun but messy and your child keeps bugging you to play with but you don't want to have the mess to clean up. We have played with it a couple times but once you make something you either have to ruin it or keep and and them have to buy more foam witch is pricey for what it is.

I bought this as a gift and although the children who I bought it for liked it, the parents were not too happy because of the mess. Also, this product my not be suitable for a 3 year old, even though it says it's for ages 3+.

I bought this product for my neices' birthdays. They turned 4 and 6 and were heading to the beach. They loved the PlayFoam, the texture, the flexibility, the colors and sparkles. They had a blast and it held their attention for quite a long time. Their parents also loved the PlayFoam. WINNING!!!
