4Great information about the science of flight with experiments that show it  Nov 01, 2010
By C. L. Yarborough "lover of the Word"
We bought this product for my son's birthday. We have been working through all the experiments together as a family. Each set of instructions is clear and the science is explained in a way that makes even complicated science terms easy to understand and memorable.

An example, today we showed Bernoulli's Law by showing that lowering air pressure under a ping pong ball will not make it leap out of a funnel, but lowering the air pressure above the ball would.

511 year old loves this  Jan 26, 2010
By We Learn in the Wild
It has great instructions and clear picture illustrations. There is really very little that you need to buy in addition and that is cheap stuff like distilled water. We got all 3 Mythbuster kits for our 11 year old for Christmas because he is such a big fan of the show. He can handle this on his own, but we are all enjoying it.

4Mythbusters forces of Flight  Jul 10, 2010
By L. Akie "Dragons1stFire"
This was purchased for a boy on his 8th birthday. He loved it and couldn't wait to get into it and try to make everything all in one day, we actually had to tell him one project a day! He had a lot of fun with it especially when making all the different paper airplanes and the experiments with the balloons!

2CHEAP!!  Mar 23, 2010
By Traci Campbell
Our family loves Mythbusters....the toy was expensive and should have cost about $10.00. There were like 3 experiments only and we had already done some of these types of experiments on our own prior to owning this produce...it was for my 8 year old son, who LOVES Mythbusters and was extremely disappointed...would not recommend.

4Perfect for a Mythbusters fan  Nov 23, 2011
By California Mom
My 7 year old is a huge fan of Mythbusters, so I thought he would enjoy this set (and he might learn a little something in the process). The pieces that come with the set are actually pretty basic, and could be purchased on their own for a lot less. But the set comes with pretty much everything you need and there are instructions for several experiments, along with information about the science behind it. The whole family was able to enjoy this set.
