A great craft overall, and this one is perfect for the littler ones Jan 29, 2010

Both my girls (7yo and 3.5yo) LOVE The Orb Factory's sticky mosaics. However, some of the sets are just too complex for the 3.5yo. The colors are much closer (just variations in shades, for example) and they are keyed to a number chart (think: paint by numbers), as well as being much smaller. The "My First" line is more basic, brighter colors, larger foam stickers, and the colors/shapes are printed onto the heavy cardboard pieces (for example, instead of a tiny square with a number inside it to coincide with the key, it will itself be an orange square - designating that as a place to use one of the square orange foam stickers). The stickers stick well enough - not sure how well they'll hold up over time, but they aren't falling off by any means (nor are they so sticky that they cannot be slightly repositioned if need be). They're also easy enough to peel off that the 3.5yo can do it by herself. My younger daughter is thrilled to have her own sticky mosaics to do along side her big sister (while she's doing the more complicated flower mirror or jewelry box). It also keeps they quite focused and entertained for a good bit, which allows me to get other things done too (what's not to like about that?)!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter LOVES the mosaics! She will happily and diligently work on a picture until it is complete, then reach for another one to start. The stickers are durable and do not tear, and the completed product is a sweet picture. She is completely independent, which is so important at this age, and so proud when each picture is complete. The mosaics are also great practice for hand-eye coordination.

got this for my five-year-old for her birthday. she is able to complete the projects independently, which makes her happy. each one takes her about 30-40 minutes. it's a nice quality set in comparison to some craft sets which are pretty junky.

My 4-year-old daughter loves the Orb Factor mosaic sticky tiles. She is entertained for hours of playtime. Well worth the money for me!

I bought this for my 3 year old and she loves it. The mosaics turn out so beautiful and colorful. She enjoys creating these and will spend time to finish her work without getting frustrated. She is able to place the stickers all by herself.
