Lots and lots and lots of stickers Sep 09, 2010

My 2 year old loves this TV show, so he just wants to have the stickers to play with. There aren't many places to put the stickers in the book, but you get a TON of stickers and multiples of them all. I didn't have a hard time peeling them off the page, but they are kind of big and therefore will rip easily in little hands. I also only paid $4.99 for this book at an outlet store, so it was worth that price to me.

This is the worst sticker book my family has ever used. Perhaps the books were packed very tightly together, or they were old...but the stickers NEVER peel off easily. Any type of sticker that was not uniform in shape but had spikes, different edges, or shapes would rip regardless of how you peeled them off. I'm speaking as an ADULT trying to peel them off. LOL. Our 2 1/2 year old could not do it at all and he became very frustrated. He does it with all his other sticker books but could not with this one.
So in summary:
1. Lots of stickers
2. VERY difficult to peel off
3. Stickers are not reuseable and even though most are not, with most you can peel them back off a page; these stayed stuck.
4. Stickers tore very easily when trying to peel off.
5. Regular pages in the book did not add anything to the book.
Don't bother with this. Go with the coloring books that have stickers in them, or reusable ones.

My 4-year-old is a big fan of Little Einsteins, so he naturally loves this sticker book. There are fun scenes where he can place stickers wherever he wants, and other pages where he has to find the exact sticker. This is great for fine motor skills, as he has to carefully peel off the correct sticker and then place it directly over the corresponding shadow. My only complaint is that the stickers tear easily, but this is the case with all stickers. I'm sure it's more suited for an older child, but mine loves it, despite his frustration when he rips a sticker. I highly recommend this large full color sticker book, although it may be a little difficult for a child as young as mine. Like I said though, he still loves it. Overall a great product!

My 2 year old loves this sticker book. She will sit and pick at the stickers for long periods of time - it's a treat to play with it. She loves the Little Einsteins so each sticker is exciting. She doesn't really use the book to put the stickers in though - she just makes sticker piles. However, $4.99 is an excellent deal for 700 of stickers even if the stickers don't make it back on the pages.
