Undersized Feb 18, 2010

Whilst detailed (for a cheaper model) the heart itself is tiny and not comparable to that of an adult sized heart.
I purchased this to better understand coronary perfusion for my paramedic classes however the size makes it difficult to utilise in any meaningful study. To give you an idea of the scale the silver rod you see supporting the heart is around 4cms or 1.6" the heart, as you can see, is much smaller than that.
Looks good on a desk but that's where I'd leave it. I repurchased a larger and more detailed model the week after it's arrival.

Rather disappointed, very small model Nov 24, 2008

Purchased this for my daughter who wants to be a heart surgeon one day. I was so disappointed when it arrived and I saw just how tiny it all was. I hope she will still get a lot out of it but I was really expecting something larger. I'd say this is more representational of an infant sized heart, not an adult size.
Good for science project Feb 21, 2012
By jay swann I bought this for my son's science project. It worked out great. We did not need it for extensive use, but it served our purpose well. The durability of the product made it easy to incorporate into the project.
