1Rip-off  Mar 20, 2009
By Daniel G. Smith
The makers of this model should make it clear to the buyer just exactly how small this item is. When I received it, my brain felt even smaller than this one, which is barely the size of a large Granny Smith apple. Buyer beware.

2Very small, missing some parts  Aug 11, 2008
By Mom of 3 great kids "pdh"
This is fun, but was very small. The first package we rec'd was missing a part. Received the replacement quickly, but the second package was missing a different part. As I recall, this wasn't super expensive, so perhaps that's why the quality wasn't so great.

4Human Brain... On a stick!  Jan 07, 2009
By Lawrence A. Kent "Twin Daddy"
Assembly is fairly easy. The pieces all lock together nice and tight. The base plate is cheap plastic and doesn't fit properly with the Brain Stem. The stem didn't fit properly into the base plate so the bottom of the stem broke when trying to attach it to the base plate.

3Only for children with patience  Jan 23, 2009
By S. W. Davidson "mystery lover"
I bought this for my 8 year old nephew. He is much too impatient to put this together, but I'm sure other 8-year-old's would be fine. Not recommended for kids with short attention span OR poor fine motor skills (he has Asperger's, so it was NOT a good choice for him!)

2Hard to Assemble--was for use in a Dr. Office  Jan 09, 2011
By R. Callaghan
Purchased for use as a teaching/educational tool in my wife's (she is an Internal Medicine Physician) clinical office. We also bought a few other items, none of which we had issues with. This particular item was difficult to assemble: pegs didn't fit well, just generally hard to put together. As my Dr. wife put it "...it fits beter without the sinus venosus..." and "...if anyone takes this apart I'm going to scream!...". Kind of defeats the point of a patient educational tool if you're scared to disassemble because its sooooo hard to reassemble!
