5Fast and easy fun!  Jul 20, 1999

This shark kit has been the highlight of my son's (age 7) study of the undersea world. The instructions were easy to follow and the reward was almost instant! It takes just 30 minutes for the mold to initially "set" and just two more hours for it to be ready to paint. The information regarding sharks in the packet was very informative, causing my son to say "Wow, I didn't know that!" My son and I have really enjoyed this product!

4Shark Mold  Feb 07, 2010
By S. Fiedler
Had fun making this kit with my daughter. She loves sharks. I measured the "ingredients" and she mixed. We read the booklet while the casting was setting. It was informative, but my know-it-all seemed to know what I was getting ready to read next. Very basic information she had heard before. She painted them up nicely and were ready to display within a week. The hammerhead was very large and there was not enough magnet provided to hold it up. We will include some type of hangar into the cast material next time. They are not for play and end up just being decorations.

5Wonderful rainy day fun!  Oct 30, 2008
By E. Struble
This was great! My son LOVED it. Must have patience to wait for the plaster to dry, so have some "shark" learning in between. Be extra careful with the finished product. My son dropped one but, luckily, there were 3. Overall a fun project.

My son loved sitting with his grammy and makeing this. If you have the time as a parent of loved one get his product or one of the other casting items. It really means a lot to a kid when you take time out of your day to help them with an activity. Get This Item

5Fast, easy, and fun  Feb 06, 2010
By JLG "Shutterbug & mom of two"
My 7 year-old son received this as a Christmas gift, and he loves it. I mix the plaster and water and pour it into the mold, then after 40 minutes he paints it and displays the finished product. There are molds for three different types of sharks -hammerhead, thresher, and great white. There are also molds for three different sized sharks teeth. We've made models of each of them, and they've turned out great each time!
