3Not what I was expecting  Nov 01, 2011

I read the review on this product and the reviews for the same product sold in a smaller set (many more reviews and it's the same thing)and I never got the impression that this is a single use toy. I was surprised that when you wet the pieces and stick them together, you can't really use them again. When you pull the two pieces apart, they've melded together and are now sticky. I was thinking this was a use over and over toy.

On a different note, the box mine came in had been opened, carelessly, was riped and taped back together. Because it had been so obviously opened, I question whether all the 1000 pieces were there. The box was far from full BUT since I wasn't the first to open it I don't know if it's like a bag of chips and only comes half full. Not the ideal situation for gift giving, which this was.

My 8 year old daughter received this last week and we have all had so much fun creating different objects. My husband even made a dragon. Super simple, just dab the ends with a wet rag and push together. It actually sticks without a gooey mess. Great for all ages.
