3great idea, cheap implementation  Feb 27, 2008

I was really looking forward to this board, and I was slightly disappointed with the quality. It's still fun, but the cheap, "dollar store" feel of the pieces takes away some of it. It wasn't expensive, and I'm glad I got it, I just would not buy it as a gift, because of the above. I wish they made it little better and even charged slightly more for it.

How do you make checkers even cooler? Add dinosaurs! I got this for a friend who's really into dinosaurs, and we played it immediately. It's so much fun to roar as you jump over pieces. And as if that weren't cool enough, when you king a piece, it becomes a t-rex. And when you jump over a piece, you get to throw that piece into the 'tar pits'. This game is so much fun, I recommend it for dinosaur lovers and checkers lovers alike.
