Definately requires two person assembly. If possible purchase better screws (the ones included bent and stripped pretty easily). Otherwise they are nice once together. We got these for a very low price over the holidays and feel like we got a great deal (we actually bought two) but would not have paid full price for them. Overall they are good quality. My only gripe with the finished product is that the screws are black and they really stand out from the beautiful colors of the shelves. I will be painting the screws or covering them with stickers.

I bought these bookshelves for my 9 year old daughter for christmas. and they are very durable made of solid hardwoods. very cute and goes with any decor that is girly. my only downfall is that it dont hold that many books. it was taller than i thought it was but the space in the shelves is narrow, and some tall books have to be turned to fit. and one of the screw holes was not drilled. Over all I am pretty satisified with this product. The shipping was pretty quick also. You really cant beat it for the price. I had done tons of research and these same shelves at other retailers were right at 100.00!! I was shocked when i found these on amazon for 29.99! Great buy! I would defantly reccomend this product!
