These are indeed lovely crayons. They are so easy to use and the colours are lovely. With a little one--just turned two--who loves them, they get spread rather thickly on the paper, which is going to be pricey after a while. My main complaint, which would not apply for older kids, is the shape of the cap. If the crayons are being used so that they're relatively flat across their tops, they have to be retracted before the caps are put on. Otherwise the crayon get stuck in the cap and pulled out of its holder next time they're opened. With that caveat, and, of course, they must remain capped when not in use or they dry out, they're a lot of fun!

"No Va SAHM"
My mom bought these for my almost 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves them, my 7 year old loves them, my 20 year old sister loves them! The feeling of the crayon going onto the paper is very pleasing -- it is silky. The colors are gorgeous and the fact that you can blend them with water makes the final product beautiful and sometimes unexpected. We've spent hours with these crayons so far and I expect there will be many more hours of happiness to come.

"Should clean more often"
My 2 year old daughter loves to color with these. The colors glide on the page, and it takes very little pressure for her to put lots of beautiful color on the paper.
A wet, chubby paintbrush makes it even more interesting. The colors are much bolder than crayons, and we've used these for my daughter to make cards and arts for family and grandparents.
In fact, my daughter used these for a father's day project. I had her go to town using these silky crayons on an 8x10 pre-primed canvas panel. When she was done, I put a piece of wax paper over the canvas, and ironed it a bit to melt the crayon a bit. I framed it, and it looks really nice.
We are having lots of fun with these crayons/pastels/watercolors!

These crayons are basically a lipstick for kids that one draws with. Colors are gorgeous and the art work, however scribbly-stunning! Any child can become an instant abstract artist. There are two drawbacks to this product. One, they do not last long and it is on the pricey side because of that. Also if it gets on your clothes, you have to wash it right away. But one look at all the drawings my 22 months old has created and they are priceless!
